Hello All,
I'm hoping someone who is Gas Safe Reg can just answer a query for me before I go and buy a new gas cooker. I know the regs are always changing so thought that I would double check.
I know that where installation instructions are not available, a freestanding gas cooker has to have a 20mm clearance either side, between cupboards. But if I buy, for example, a Hotpoint HUG61, which clearly states in the manual, that it is designed to be close fitted below hotplate level, is there anything in the latest Gas Regs that would overide this?
I don't want to buy the cooker and then find that no-one will connect it up for me.
Thanks.
