call a registered gas engineer they will find the leak for you

We don't encourage DIYers to do their own gas work!
Its not illegal to use a sniffer to locate a gas leak.
But repairing a gas leak certainly is.
Nor would the DIYer be able to test for the leak before and afterwards.
