Hi,

I've had a quote from registered gas safe plumber to do a power flush (£250 exec VAT) which seems pretty good. However he said he'd be sending his colleague to do it, when I asked if he was gas safe registered he's said no but it's not required for doing a power flush.
Was he telling a porkie pie?

Thanks wasn't sure and wanted a second opinion, I'll ask him to get flushing.

Cheap is not always good. Lots of guys that do powerflushing, don't quite know how to do it, and as a result only the looses stuff comes out.
If he just sticks the pump on for a while, the result will not much better than a £50 chemical flush.
Search the forum on powerflushing, and you may be able to ask the right questions before you part with your £250.
