GE Washing machine does not turn on. . .

I've got the panel off and can't see a fuse, which I read it might be. the model is about 7 yrs old, top loading, I'm looking a schematic but it is confusing. I see circuit boards with black cubes stuck to them along with other resister stuff. model #WBSE3120B2WW. how do I locate what the trouble is?
