Get rid of 2000 lb rock from my basement

I have a 2000 lb solid rock in by basement, what is the best way (cost and effort) to get it out?

scrape some of it into your pocket using a spoon and scatter the contents across your yard daily through your trouser legs?

1) Is it just sitting there, or will it need to be dug out as well?

2) Does the stone have any value? Just wondering if it might be worth getting a stonemason who will be able to split it cleanly and leave you with useful sized/shaped pieces.

Have you checked to see if there's a sword sticking out of it? if you are able to remove it you may become the new king of canada.
