after some advice from anyone that owns a large dog. I currently run a 4x4 so no probs with space , have recently started new job meaning I now travel about 400 miles a week so need something more economical to run, trouble is I hate estate cars but need something that will take a large german shepherd in the back at the weekends . Any ideas folks thanks

What about a hatchback then? Do you have anything/type of car in mind?

What sort of license does the dog have, manual or automatic?

Hatch back is fine , just wondered if anyone has some thing like a honda civic, audi a3,ford focus, megane etc and puts a large dog in with ease. cheers
 oh and I dont mean the mrs

mmmmmmmmm theres a thought Davybull never thought of a scooby. cheers , dog looks great to.

What about a Volvo estate... We've got a V40 and our 2 springers fit fine in the back with loads of space - one big dog will be fine. Not bad for carrying loads to/from tip and wood yard.

Hope that helps
Dave

Berlingo Multispace. Our last GS fit in no problem and our present one is growing into it.
