Terry wanna talk me through exactly what i am meant to do starting from if i should even have the boiler powered up to begin with before i hit the reset button and loosen the bolt ?

Nup, it's you that needs the help, but your stattaco posting doesn't help. You'll find Nixt is quite a knowledgeable guy, so it might be worth bearing that in mind.

The G5 burners are tedious, though not difficult. however looking at your postings, it looks like it would be a good plan to get someone in. You can ring Grants for a list of names who will know their combies. Not every tech likes doing, or even does combies.
