Hi,

I have an outdoor Grant Vortex Pro oil boiler. I've just noticed some oil leaking from the base of the green pipe/top of the metal 'bit'. Its only when its switched on, and drawing oil through that it starts to leak. Any thoughts on the problem here? Is this something that is an easy fix?

Thank you

Could try very carefully tightening nut on flexi need grips to hold valve firm at same time.
Should warn you kerosene can be difficult to stop leaking!
If that's the sensor end of your oil fire valve behind shut off valve it should be positioned above burner.

Thanks. I'll try that. The green pipe actually then curls around and down into burner. You can see the corner of it in the left of the picture.

The pipe seems to be leaking from the ferrule.....being a long life flexy, fit a new pipe.
HWOS have pictures of them, but identify the ends and length you need.

Thanks John, a basic question - is that an easy thing to do? Turn the oil flow off and then disconnect one and connect the new one?

I've had one braided flexy pipe burst and leak (kero ran under a laminate floor o_O)
Never had a burst green hose though, but indeed had one leaking from the ferrule.
John :)
