We have, at the rear of our property, an unmaintained road that is plagued by potholes.
As we park at the rear, we are pretty much fed up of having our clean cars splashed and muddied on the first rainy day after washing them.
I have convinced the neighbours that we should chip in and get some sort of gravel to fill in the holes. Fortunately, i have access to a wacker plate at work which i fully intend to make use of if i can!
Does anyone know firstly, the best (& hopefully most economic) material to use? And secondly, a quick guide on the best method?
As it is a road that belongs to no-one in particular, i am not too bothered how it looks, only that it should be relatively flat and stay compacted for a number of years.
Thanks.
