Thanks tfc, but seems a bit daft buying a second basic system to run alongside a proper hard wired alarm that covers the whole house. I just wanted to wire in a basic sim module instead of forking out for a new WiFi/app control panel.
I’ve concluded the communicator must be in-op, perhaps due to its age. The sequence of the LEDs lighting and settling however is correct, so who knows! There isn’t much on the market as I guess SIM card communicators are comparatively old fashioned now, so I’ll buy one brand new from gsm-activate and see how I get on.
