halstead boilers

Hi all

First time posting but been lurking a few years. So be gentle on me.
Had friday from hell finished off with a sotted up Baxi 401 bbu

Question is I has customer asking about halstead combi boilers.
Gave her a price on Baxi 24 Duotec and Platinum and can see that the Halsteads are a bit cheaper but what are they like long term for relability.

British, so what do you expect? look at the Hollywood films on telly/ cinema, then look at old Ealing films from 1932 or whatever, that`s the difference between British made boilers and any other boiler in the world.

Thats pretty much what i thought myself but the Halstead rep was trying to sell them as though there were the dogs extra bits but after 25 years I have heard all before.

They probably are the dog`s extra bits, unfortunately the extra bits that are left on the pavement.
