A fiend of mine has had a new bathroom suite fitted and the toilet has a button flush on top of the cistern. The trouble is he has very bad arthritis in both hands (retired plasterer) and has to use a sawn off bit of broomstail to operate this and cannot operate the quick flush saving water.
I have seen hands free battery operated flushing mechanisms on various websites for £40-50 and wondered if they are reliable (are you constantly changing the batteries etc) and if any of the plumbers on here had any experiences of them, they don't seem common in a household enviroment. Thanks for any info.
