Hanging 12KG Mirror Onto Platerboard No Studs

I need to hang a 12Kg mirror onto plasterboard, no studs behind and can't move it elsewhere.

Do I use

Those Redidrivas look good and diynot says there great, but UHMan... says there not good for supporting heavy stuff.

So confused, looks like the strap toggles are brill, but need to do it tomorrow ideally, rather than ebay them

Use the smallest ones possible. They require a large hole to be drilled, much larger then the thread size would suggest.

You could combine the fixings with some mirror adhesive if your worried about the fixings at all.

You could just use the adhesive and a temporary support while it sets if the surface of the wall is up to the job.

Only thing with this stuff is you will never get the mirror off in one piece if you use it

I've got these holding a heavy mirror on my plasterboard wall (the 5x40mm gold ones) and have had no issues at all. They hold 15-20kg depending on whether the plasterboard is 9.5mm or 12mm. Just choose the size most suitable for you.
