ok well done at least the gate can go to perhaps 120 degrees mostly if not all out the way off the opening
a security screw in each hinge will help with well security
Or fasten the hinges to the other face of the wood: look at the thickness of the gate bars; they could easily take the hinges being mounted like a normal door and have the gate open all the way. Wouldn't look so gash, be more secure and more functional
As is the gate thickness closes the gap down appreciably and rives itself apart when it gets past 90; the wind is indiscriminate
