Both jobs less than an hr!
1) plate - if your pipes go down from the boiler, undo dhw pipe undo 2screws on plate and then push plate, plate falls down and insert new! If pipes are behind boiler remove pump on rhs and remove plate! 1 takes 5 mins 2 takes 25 mins

2) prv, if you can remove gas pipe or dhw then do it in situ as you can fit your hand in at the back and remove and refit! If you can't then again you can remove pump and return manifold easily

either job at worst will take no more than an hour!

Had an isar 24 he off Warmfront? fitted in 2006, within 3 months a diverter valve head was fitted, i had him back two days later to replace the valve.

I still have the new valvehead.Since then, courtesy of this forum,as my mot ran out a while back, i was guided to buy an ORANGE pcb, which is still doing it's job. fitted and had checked, a sparkplug.

I am not an engineer, but i think this is a seriously easy boiler to sort out, with checks of course.

Downfiring burners which are awkward to get out especially when in a cupboard? Greenstar Camray what a heap!!!! baffles that wont come out the need to remove a ton of meaningless metal work to get at the clean out covers need I go on??

No u are not our fellas dislike worc , with a passion ! & as for there oil fired range well total carp !

Personally I dislike any boioer that is made out of ally , few years back we had an install were bye the boiler would have been in the condensing mode permanently 14 hours a day or there abouts , worc said any warranty would be null & void were as Veissman (stainless ) said no problems !!!

Worc are far to over rated in my veiw !! dunno why so many bother with them ?? than again many just install if they had to fix or work on what they install alot probably would'nt bother ?? may be ??

CDi is a complete cow to do just about anything that regularly goes wrong with it.

28i junior is one of the worst designed boilers ever. the pump arrangement and prv arrangement is a bad joke.
