Hi everyone, new here
Just looking for some information/help please. We’re looking at extending our house and need to put in a planning application. We have been told by a planning officer that our two storey extension cannot project further than ‘the distance to the boundary plus 1 meter’ so our current distance to boundary is 1.9meters, plus 1 meter makes 2.9 meters. If this is the case, we are going to have to reduce the size of our bedroom/en-suite.
I’ve read some planning documents and came across the 45 degrees rule but nothing on the ‘boundary plus 1 meter. ‘
I just wondered if anyone else had come across it please?
