I'm installing a ceramic Reginox RL304CW sink on top of a 40mm laminate worktop.

The sink is quite heavy. I'm wondering if the worktop will be strong enough to hold the sink as it goes near the corner. What are the minimum distances from the sides of the worktop as I've got it directly from Reginox and they did not supply any instructions.

Also do you use the same sink brackets for tightening that you use with the stainless steel ones ?

Thanks...

It all depends on waht carcases you have got under it, I generally find there is no problem with the ceramic sinks if they are over a standard sink base.

You don't need any brackets, just bed them on a bead of silicone then run another bead around the edge.
