Height between hob and cooker hood

Bloke I used to work with used to frequent a pub that was not the nearest by three and uphill from his house, his reasoning was because it was downhill when staggering back home alcoholically propelled after a good night out.

I have never lived more than 150 metres from a pub.

The place I lived in until last year was so close that, before 3G phone access, the pre-N router that I installed in my loft reached the pub.
And if the pub served carlsberg, it would then reach other parts !!!!!!@

Indeed but Who TF drinks that stuff. It is beer for people that do not like beer. It is akin to Cold Play- music for people that don't like music.

I briefly worked at Heathrow many moons ago and I didn't have landline.
My colleagues would call me on the phone of the pub across the road from me.
The landlord didn't mind, nice Irish chap.

The landlord would send someone to knock at my door, I didn't live in the pub :ROFLMAO:
However I would stay for one or 2 after the calls...

morqthana,
that comedian was superb.
Thank  you

In fact Batley, his own town is not very far from me, used to have Batley Variety Club there and I had been there back in the day.

Oh yes, I worked in Heathrow and lived in Stanley, and there were a couple of good pubs, it was the taxies who took the Michel, many a time got them to drop me at the twin rivers and walked the last bit, as they tried to take me home the long way around.

But as to height of cooker hood, watched TV adverts where the extract is built into the hotplates, so zero height, so how can there be a minium height with electric?

Only with gas can there be height limits.

Set high enough to not bang my head at 920mm and works just fine. Rarely use more than minimum speed unless boiling several pots at the same time on the hob.

I presume that it is the distance below which the manufacturer thinks the product will be damaged or affected by the heat.

What discussion would ensue here if the hood was completely heat-proof and the manufacturer stated the minimum height was 1mm?
