Bloke I used to work with used to frequent a pub that was not the nearest by three and uphill from his house, his reasoning was because it was downhill when staggering back home alcoholically propelled after a good night out.

And if the pub served carlsberg, it would then reach other parts !!!!!!@I have never lived more than 150 metres from a pub.
The place I lived in until last year was so close that, before 3G phone access, the pre-N router that I installed in my loft reached the pub.
And if the pub served carlsberg, it would then reach other parts !!!!!!@

Places in parts where other beers cannot reach !!!!!@Indeed but Who TF drinks that stuff.

Would it go likeI briefly worked at Heathrow many moons ago and I didn't have landline.
My colleagues would call me on the phone of the pub across the road from me.
The landlord didn't mind, nice Irish chap.
The landlord would send someone to knock at my door, I didn't live in the pubWould it go like
Jonny phone call for you!
Do you want you usual Johnny?
Go on then Danny...... Ill have a quick one.
I bet you spent alot of money taking them calls..

Thats why he never minded. He was a good businessman. The landlord would send someone to knock at my door, I didn't live in the pub
However I would stay for one or 2 after the calls...

Oh yes, I worked in Heathrow and lived in Stanley, and there were a couple of good pubs, it was the taxies who took the Michel, many a time got them to drop me at the twin rivers and walked the last bit, as they tried to take me home the long way around.I briefly worked at Heathrow many moons ago and I didn't have landline.
My colleagues would call me on the phone of the pub across the road from me.

But as to height of cooker hood, watched TV adverts where the extract is built into the hotplates, so zero height, so how can there be a minium height with electric? View attachment 386764
Another victory of form over function.
I presume that it is the distance below which the manufacturer thinks the product will be damaged or affected by the heat.so how can there be a minium height with electric?
