Hi guys.

I have a bedroom that I need to knock the 2 external walls back to brick (blown plaster), the house is double slim with cavity installation.

My query is can I just dot and dab 12.5mm plasterboard to the brick or do I need to batten the walls, fill with insulation and then plasterboard it? Or even use this insulated plasterboard stuff? And if so how best to fix it?

Any help is appreciated. Trying to get some advice so I can order stuff for a Saturday delivery

Thanks!

Plasterboard direct to brick with adhesive. No need for insulation unless you are trying to achieve a certain performance
