Hi all

Looking to replace my old toilet with a toilet/basin combo.

I’ve fitted a few toilets and basins separately but never a combo?

I’m looking at this combo pack as it comes with a monobloc tap but I’m baffled as to how the tap gets its feed as the tail/s must go into the cistern?

I think I can see two inputs in the bottom of the cistern? Are these the hot and cold?

If they are what do i need to just make it a cold water fed system?

I’ve watched a video but it does not show how the tap tail or tails are connected?

Anyone help please?

Thanks

Perhaps it’s installed like this?

Wow.
That’s an odd design.
I have messaged the seller for instructions.
IF it is like that then I would need to split the CW feed.
One for cistern fill and one to the CW of tap flexi.

I presume the other HW flexi would also need to be fitted to prevent backflip from the CW one?
I would just have it dangling and fit an 1/2” male plug??

Seems a silly way to do it though??

Yes, it would need to be blanked, but you might as well try to plumb it in.

It’s a massive job to run a HW supply as the existing toilet is in an outhouse and HW is not required at all.

Just seems a silly design tbh/way of doing it.

Cheers.

What about adding a water heater?

The other half just does not want HW.
So I’m happy. Lol.
I found a video from another one which looks the same but from Victoria Plumb.

It seems the CW inlet/fill has 15mm T/spur off it to connect the CW flexi too.

The HW will then also need to be fully fitted but just capped off on the outside/bottom of the cistern.

So it will need an 1/2” female cap with a rubber washer if possible.

Anyone know the correct terminology or correct item.
It’s basically the same flat faced inout as the CW inlet on the bottom.

Thanks guys.
