Help please Worcester 15/19 Heatslave

Well John.
The heating is on so progress.Im just praying this works. The boiler has been a nightmare since September.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply.I will keep you posted.

Regards

I really think that these boilers are an absolute gem...simple PCB, easy to clean baffles and a canny little burner.
I keep a diverter valve top and flow switch in stock - had a few issues with them (Christmas Day, usually :P )
Any 'engineer' who can't sort these should really consider packing it in.
John :)

The EBI on these boilers can easily be overloaded by repeated operation of the hot water tap, as the transformer is energised as soon as the flow switch starts the burner. It can run for 20 secs without even lighting. I had one this week that seemed to give a good spark, but replacing it with a new one, I could hear the spark when I couldn't before.

Yep, I couldn't agree more.....I suppose all of the Heatslaves are the same?
Despite all that, the EB1 seems to put up with it reasonably well - I'm wondering if the 832 is better than the 830 for this.....or a delayed action flow switch!
Really interested in your comments!
John :)

The 832 is no different to the 830 in sequence on a B9. You cant ignore the first stage and wire to the 2nd stage as it would lock out on flame failure.
