Help! Simple electrics problem with under cupboard lighting

If you're ever told "it's cheaper to change the whole fitting" you'll understand why!

you dont need the tran so just get the light and maybe 1 or 2 leads to reach the top of the cupboard, which is about £8

You may need to ensure the wire will go up behind the cuboard, as if the plug is diferent you may need to rejoin on to the old plug/lead using a small junction box on the top of the cupboard,

unless you have the tools you may not be able to crimp join the cable by the fitting.

I have not seen that light ,but as said most of the actual light housings are similar although the units differ
some only come with a short lead from the light to the first plug about 800 mm before joining to a lead , this first plug/ socket is usually pulled up unseen behind the cupboard
