Can someone explain how to wire an seperate oven that is more that 2 metres away from the cooker outlet plate. I an unable to wire into a plug as the oven is a 3.5kw. I have a plug socket just underneath the oven. What is the correct way to do this. I have had conflicting information.

20A radial from consumer unit. Fit a 20A switch close to the oven.
