Went to a job today, fault on underground cable.
Apparently the cables were in existing ducts and two beacons resited.
All now blockpaved and no one new existing points.
went on google maps zoomed in and got old locations.

We use a 3M Dynatel cable and fault locator for cable faults works well in verge but in areas under tarmac with other cables can give false readings.
Needs the cable to be traced made earth free at both ends
