Morning,

Just looking for some advice/help. I purchased the hive heating system with additional thermostat as i have 2 zone heating.

1. I assume i wire the the recievers indivually.

2. I currently have wired thermostats/programmers can i fit wireless thermostats or do i need the wired ones ?

3. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the boiler to reciever ? (I have attached pictures of my boilers wiring)

I am a automotive spark to trade so just looking for some clarification/help as this is my first time installing this.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

You are mistaken with your system you do not wire anything to the boiler, the Hive receivers open and close the relevant zone valves, the zone valves tell the boiler when to come on, you will have a wiring centre somewhere, you put the receivers next to that

Aw ok i think i understand now,

So i have taken a pictute of my excisting thermostat/programmer below and the wiring.

I think i replace this with my reciever and then do the same with my second zone (upstairs) ?

Thanks for help so far

Nope you need to find your wiring centre, the receivers get wired in to that , then you join the two wires in each existing thermostat together, and insulate, or remove completely and put links in at the wiring centre
