I have a dual channel hive programmer to install. Currently have a corgi programmer with wiring below

There is no heating off wire which would go into terminal 5. I read on another thread that Hive didn't necessarily need that...is that correct? I couldn't find anything which covered that for sure on any other thread.

I also have a wired thermostat which I am planning to bridge out, if that makes any difference.

So can I connect up without "heating off" wire?

Thanks

The Hive should be a direct swap.

Ignore me, I had the wrong backplate in mind, .

For some reason, I can’t see the images, if you have an s plan (x2 motorised valves) then should be ok.

you will never need a CH off wire unless the system also has air con

Thanks for all the replies. Happy with switching the existing wiring round but wasn't sure what to do about the missing wire
