I have a new garden chair, it sits 2 people so there's a fair bit of weight.

I want to hang it from a timber joist which is 150 x 50 (6 x 3), the joist is fixed firm to the house at one end and a wall at the other end, so I'm happy with that.

How should I hang the chair? I was thinking of drilling down through the middle of the joists and having a sort of coach bolt with a hook.

Does that sound the right thing to do? if so, where can I get a fixing like that?

Many thanks.
