Hole Saw?

Hi all in the middle of doing the bathroom out just wondering whats the best tool to cut a hole for the taps? will a normal hole saw by alrite?

Can't answer this as you haven't said what it is you're needing to cut the hole in. Bath? Tiles? Floor? Something else?
 
Yeah a normal holesaw will be fine in that case, make sure it's a sharp one and do the pilot hole first, if you try to do it with the holesaw attached you will almost certainly end up ramming the spinning holesaw down onto the bath when the pilot breaks through and this will split the bath, guaranteed. Measure twice, drill pilot holes, remeasure, double-check pipe centres on the taps if you have a mixer, measure again, then go in carefully with the holesaw

The bosch progressor holesaws are really good. Nice n sharp, tough, go through easy.
 
hole saw is good go in from the acrylic side if you go in from underneath the acrylic could splinter
 
if you are tiling the wall , allow 9/12mm for the tile thickness when you measure the holes , assuming you have enough space on the bath edge
 
hi thanks all now i just sorted it :) thanks for all the advice, took my time using the hole saw measured twice and cut once phew! lol :)
