Hi there,
Thank you for looking at my problem first of all.
I'm not an engineer but I've found my way around our alarm system fairly well using the manual. I cannot get out of engineer mode. I've entered the engineer code and pressed escape, it checks for tampers and finds 'RF Module 4'. I think it might be something to do with the fob but I am not sure and unable to find out for sure and how to clear it.

Can you help me please? (n):(

Thank you.

Don't think it will let you out until you clear the fault I had battery fault had to disconnect mains and bat turn back on and then when setting it let me override battery fault so think you're gonna have to find out the fault .

Also removed the cover from the power control too in case that's useful.

Didn't say that ! Anyway looks like the spring is missing off the tamper switch ( see posted picture and your picture ) black button, unless the later ones are different and there's a moulding inside the lid ?

Ha! No, you didn't
I see what you mean though there should be one in the area I've circled in my picture. I opened this firstly over a year ago and that's probably when I lost it. I'll have a rake in the cupboard, it may still be there.
I think you've solved my problem Sparky! Many many thanks Wish I could get you a pint

Aah, I didn't know about that. Certainly will. I still have to get a replacement spring and it needs a 'user reset' again but my wife can unset using the fob which is good for now. Thanks again dude
