I am trying to install the attached internal sounder on my Honeywell G2-20 alarm.

There are 2 terminal connections only on the sounder and I have been unable to get it working.

I wired one connection to +12V on the panel and the other to the SAB bell connection on the panel (Bell symbol terminal).

Have also looked at other posts on this forum but not been able to resolve the issue.

I know some have wired to the loadspeaker negative, but I want to this work as a sounder only i.e to only go off when the external bell is triggered.

Any help would be appreciated

That is a speaker sounder and would be connected to the LS terminals on the control panel.
If you have applied 12volt, then you probably have blown the speaker.
You require a 12volt sounder, something like a soundbomb2.

Thanks for the response. Complete oversight by me. Will purchase a internal sounder
