Honeywell T3R thermostat keeps increasing the temp.

Hi,

over the last couple of days we’ve come home and found our house at 26 to 27 degrees. But our thermostats are set to factory settings which whilst during the day should be 16 degrees.

I’ve looked through the settings and nothings changed and have no idea why the house is randomly heating itself?

Is it the thermostat calling for heat, or do you not know this? What type of system setup?

take the batteries out and bend the metal spring tab out so it has a tighter fitting. if this is loose it can cause various issues, but the most common is the heating coming on when it shouldn't be.
