Hot water working but central heating is not!

Moved into this property a couple months back and I had to bleed some of the radiators inside it. About 4 of them were cold at the top and warm at the bottom. After bleeding them they were roasting hot all around so the problem was solved. However the issue now is I’m not getting any heating on any of them although the central heating option is switched on. The thermostat is on also and they won’t come on. I’m getting roasting hot water on the showers and every tap with good pressure however the central heating just won’t turn on.

Any ideas and advice would be much appreciated fellas.

After bleeding the radiators, did you top the pressure back up? If yes, could be motorised valve failure.

Where the cylinder is, try looking for a braided hose connected to 2 valves. Have a look at the pressure gauge too, should show how much pressure if any is there.

Open the 2 black handled valves ,each end of the silver braided hose,to top pressure up to 1 bar.

I have opened them and now it’s went up to 1 bar then I closed them.

Thanks man. I was going to ask is 1 psi safe can I go higher and do I need to do this everytime I bleed the radiators?

1 bar is fine,pressure will increase when heating is in use ,shouldn't reach much more than 2 bar,and when cools should return back to 1bar. If pressure gets to 3 bar you have a problem.
Anytime rads are bled of air ,then re check pressure.

And do a bright wire nail test to check if the inhibitor is up to strength. As you had a lot of gas build-up, it probably isn't.

Lads anyone know what that red gaguage is for then? Is that for the hot water?
