Hi, I am looking at buying a wireless house alarm such as the Yale smartsync system.
Are they worth the money or do you have any other recommendations?

it’s for a 5 bed house with 6 external doors. Would also need the pet friendly pir’s.

Second that.
Pyronix all the way.
You may find Yale detectors are not petolerant.
What pet do you have ?

You may struggle with two cats and small dog in same room with petolerant pir.
Mite be better with shock sensors where pets are, or choose a control panel with different area settings so you could program for pet areas.

The cats have freedom to roam around the house but the dog is shut in her own room while we are out of the house/overnight

You need to design a system around your requirements. Don't think Yale is the product for you.
The correct device sited in the correct position will protect your property.

What rooms do you want to protect?
Rooms with no pet access should be OK with Pir sensor.
Cats on staircase can be problematical with pir sensors.
Tell us what you want to protect ,how you want to set system and where the pets can and can't go.
