yeh i always ask, even if im sure i know what im doing.
the regs guy wants to come out after 1st fix to inspect, then again after 2nd fix to test b4 it is taken into service.
so all floorboards i have lifted will remain lifted and so on so he can see what i have been up to
i will have to see if i can get 2x2.5 through some of the conduit i found as there are ods and sods there.
i do wonder if i use notches if its worth running the cable down 50mm and clipping it in place ?
would the regs bloke have a moan about that or pat me on the back for using my nogin ?
although its going to increase the length of the ring were only talking about 2.4 meter extra as its 12 joists i have to span there and back.
