How Do I work Out KW of Rads

Hi

I don't think my Vaillant Ecotec 831 has been range rated.

I have

1 x 400x2000 Double Rad
2 x 600x800 Single
2 x 600x1400 Single
1 x 600x1200 Single

Plus a small towel rail, all this is in a standard 3 bed mid terrace house.

What is the factory set output for the boiler?

What do you think I should range rate mine to?

"The boilers are fully modulating for central heating, and
it is therefore not necessary to range rate the boiler.
However, if desired, it is possible to range rate the boiler,"

As rationnastick says you shouldn't need to alter the maximum output unless there is a problem with the system.

According to the manual the boiler can modulate down to 9kW and will be set for a maximum of 24kW. (and higher for DHW)

It doesn't have to be done but it will work better when rated to the correct output.

follow instructions to get into d codes and change d0 to desired output. I'm guessing about 12kw.
