How is it that no-one developed UV resistant vert blind plastics?

I am not talking about the blinds themselves, rather the plastic fittings like the weights, cords, hangers.

See me s that they are very susceptible to UV degradation over a few years.

The reason it might feel like no one developed them is often due to cost vs longevity. Standard plastics are much cheaper to produce but adding UV blockers, stabilisers, or absorbers like titanium dioxide or benzophenones increases the manufacturing cost. Many budget manufacturers prioritise a lower price knowing that blinds are often replaced every 7–10 years for aesthetic reasons anyway.
