I will be fitting a Neff built in oven into a tower unit that reaches the ceiling. The Oven requires a 13A plug but the manual states that the plug should be accessible.

This rules out using the existing socket that sits on the wall within the tower but I am not sure I like the idea of drilling a hole in the tower unit so the oven can be plugged into an adjoining wall outlet with the whole world looking at the cable.

What would the pro’s here do?

Are you able to install a cable buried in the wall to fit a switched fused connector unit?

Could you have a switch on the outside of the tower?
