How to drill holes in floor tiles

Hi,i have just tiled our shower enclosure using satin white tiles which were advertised as wall or floor tiles.They seem to be a lot harder than normal wall tiles.I am having problems drilling holes in the tiles for the shower head sliding rail and shower door.I have broken 2 tile drills and need some advise as to how i should go about drilling the holes.

you get about 4-6 holes per drill before they are blunt.

It would have to be a tiling specialist,they dont stock them in diy stores as far as I know,possibly ebay?but then you have to wait for delivery etc.
I order mine from hong kong,they work out much cheaper
