Hi All,

Hopefully someone looking at the forum will have the knowledge to assist me.

I have recently had an insulated garden building installed and with my limited skills am looking to 'finish' off the interior. The aluminium bi fold doors are installed and packed out. I am looking to install some 'fascia' to cover gaps. The gaps down each side are quite large and wondered if it would be worth using expandable foam?

Would this react with the aluminium frame or cause a condensation issue?

Many Thanks in advance
K

Use your foam with confidence, it won't react or cause condensation.
How about some thin timber trims to cover it, once it's set?

Masking tape the edge of the frame first and cover the rest with plastic! Also dust sheet on the floor.
Assuming you just get a diy can of foam they are very uncontrollable and will expand like mad and it can stain aluminum frames.
But yes you do want to foam around it.
