EDIT - Title should read 'THIS Tool'.

The tool in the video below is made out of a socket. I need one the same. Are these cylindrical tools with two pins available? What are they called? Unfortunately, I don't have the tools or patience required to make one.

Thanks for any ideas.

Thanks John. Having a look at those. In the video he made his from both a 13/16th" socket and 21mm scocket. So, would need a nut socket a similar size to these.

I have a VW set somewhere I believe - they were used to remove the shock absorber cartridge from within the front strut.
Laser may have what you need, if its for a specific vehicle.
John :)

It's actually to strip a Shimano bike freewheel/freehub, as in the video. Next time you're near your VW strut tools, if you see one in there that's the same diameter as a 21mm or 13/16th socket or just slightly smaller I would be grateful. If I know which strut nut it's close to I can source one.

If the lugs are too big, I can file them down.

Another Laser source......motorbike castle nut sockets could provide - they give the dimensions on the site too.
John :)

Thanks Roger. Will have a look at those. Suntour is different to my ancient Shimano unit, but if the diameter is close, it may work. The lugs look a little big, but I could soon whittle those down.

Could you not buy one slit down one side and cramp it up till it was the correct diameter. The hubs are on tight but not seriously tight and I think this would work
