How to use an adjustable soil bend

Those 'nuts' shouldn't need undoing, not that I've used Floplast gear before, but every adjustable bend I've ever come across just needs twisting. They're invariably very stiff, you just need to man up a bit, or alternatively go to the merchants and get some silicone lubricant in an aerosol and spray it into the joints, this sometimes loosens them up a bit

I am going to try one of those Boa strap wrenches which I finally stumbled across. I guess that those nuts might be intended for turning as they have the little knurls on them. I even had a plumber round to quote and he couldn't twist the joints either!

They dont undo, just twist it into the correct position :)

you can undo them. Then rotate to the correct orientation and then tighten then.

If you leave them "done up" and then manipulate the joint a lot, the seals will get damaged

These particular adjustable bends do not undo, I KNOW because I'VE INSTALLED THEM :)

But you are right that some do come apart.

Hi anyone know if you can get these in 3".
I am trying to get a vent up through the rafters which is not quite 45 deg. No room for 4".
Tried googling but not come up with anything.
