£8.6bn is what our net contribution to the EU is. That is a bargain when we consider what this government spends on ridiculous projects like HS2, Hinkley C, Trident. If we add the costs of all those 3 over 20 years that will be way over £250bn.
So what makes a bigger impact on the UK economy? Single market access vs Hinckley C +Trident + HS2
