I can conceive of nothing more wicked and revolting

Britain is the only country in the world with a sustained history of child migration. Only Britain has used child migration as a significant part of its child care strategy over a period of four centuries rather than as a policy of last resort during times of war or civil unrest.
Any link, you tube, video, authoritive work etc. is just propaganda - unless posted by RH

..Or how much it would cost?

What charges do you think would be brought about whilst also considering the time line?

How about murder , torture and complicity .
Timeline is no different at all to concentration camps and in a lot of the cases a lot more recent.
Cost well just make probably the richest religion in the world who is guilty here pay for it when they are found guilty

The article states that the children died of disease and that some were malnourished.

Are you saying that the British should interfere in this instance?

Should we stop at just Ireland or continue on with orphanages in say Romania for instance?

Who mentioned the british ? ? and yep the millions of jews were merely malnourished

Would that be the International Criminal Court?
My understanding is that usually, such crimes are prosecuted by the request of a country, or an individual/group of individuals after some extensive investigation, by the ICC, to ascertain that a crime may have been committed.

In which case, there's nothing to stop a country, individual/group of individuals rasing this with the ICC.
But, I'm assuming that a country's own law enforcing will have to be exhausted first, or that it's a crime of international proportions.

No defence of the nuns by dropclanger? oh of course, the nuns are WHITE.

What another dopey comment.
Just some ambiguous and vague inference as to the absence of any comment of mine.

If I have nothing to say, I say nothing.
You, on the other hand, insist on saying something to prove that you're an idiot.

Judging by your familiarity with them, perhaps they were personal acquaintances of yours.
Could you shed some light on their motivation?

If people can justify doing something in their minds, they will do it without qualms.

In religion, people are given that justification by extremist leaders or elders, or they interpret the texts to their own ends.

I can well believe that but are these "people" not able to decide for themselves what is right and wrong? I, as I am sure others have, had comments from friends that are clearly bigoted, I don't nod in agreement with them, but politely say I don't agree, do these nuns not have the moral fibre to stand against something so patently obscene?

I have a feeling that some religious people lack the ability to make such decisions for themselves and rely on other god-botherers to tell them what to do.

One thing that makes me laugh is when Roman Catholics commit some sort of 'sin' and then go to confession. They confess what they have done to a priest, who tells them it will all be OK if they say a few 'Hail Marys'! Easy peasy!

Better to ask for forgiveness than permission, as the saying goes...
