We are being told to take meter readings today, which pre-supposes the utilities will apportion bills in their favour to cover price increases. Presumably not a problem if you're on a smart meter.

Bored woman: I got a bill for £2.8m, would that make a story
Reporter: Hmmm, bit bonkers, how do you feel about it?
Bored woman: Not bothered. Obvs a mistake.
Reporter: that won't make a story
Bored woman: oh
Reporter: but ...
Bored woman: yeah?
Reporter: would you say, that having to pay such a bill would be terrifying?
Bored woman: of course
Reporter: Great! Here's £100
