I actually like baseball. The slow grind can become hypnotic. It is really hard to hit a baseball pitch, not so much because of the speed, but because the double seam on the ball means it can swing wildly; up, down, sideways or any combination.
American Football has incredible athletes. But it is too choreographed for me these days.
I have always found basketball unbelievably boring.
I thought Americans preferred basketball over football (soccer) because of the fast pace and goals a plenty, no 0-0 draws ?
I've heard the same. Americans are much more different to us than many people imagine. They like to watch cars go round and round in a circle. There is probably a psychological thread linking together why they prefer all their strange sports. I've sometimes wondered whether anyone has studied it.
