Ideal mini c28 no hot water

I have a problem with the DHW on my mini c28. I get CH and no Hot water but if I pull the black flowswitch, the red light comes on and it flips to hot water and no CH. When I push it back it reverts back.
I've replaced a burned out ignition PCB but still have this problem. Any advice would be much appreciated.

umj, I would suspect the flow switch

The valve the flow swich fits has a magnetic ring on a float that fits behind a spring.. sounds like its not moving so not tripping the boiler... not a diy job... get a fitter in..

The magnetic shuttle is apparently stuck, somewhat common.

It could be a DIY job except that the gas valve has to be removed to take it out. They can be screwed in very tight too.

BUT before doing anything to the boiler, pull back the Hall effect sensor until DHW is activated, turn on a tap and check that the hot pipe is indeed No. 2 pipe.
