I have a thirty something year old Massey F Tractor. It is battered. I dont think it has been serviced (ever) or not in the last twenty years. As quick as i poor oil in, it throws it out. There has been no water in the rad since I got it. Yet it starts 3 times each week and is run for circa 20 mins no probs. If only they made cars so robust.......

You could be describing my late Ford cortina, which seemed to run best without oil or water. I'm sure it would still be going now had the council decided not to send it to the crusher whilst I was on holiday! Couldn't pull a trailer of hay very far though.......
