Immersion heater switch?

Tried volt stick at neutral and got an indication. Included a picture as well.

Double check with your meter, set for ac mains voltage, with the switch on, between the L and N terminals of the element itself.

Check between the L of the element, and earth.

If the first test shows nothing, and the second shows mains volts, then you have no neutral.

Try using the multimeter between the indicated points and earth (first), m.meter set to 500V AC.

If you get 230V where its marked 0V then broken neutral or faulty double pole switch (N))
