Immigration & foreign aid, what are we DOING?!?

And people still believe the bulk of foreign aid goes to those that actually need it and not lining peoples pockets
Do you have evidence it does not?

Instead of throwing around opinions why not try and find some facts

"I agree that we shouldn’t just give money to corrupt nations without checks and balances…..It would be interesting to learn more detail about what the process actually is"

This thread is about foreign aid. I have defined that as charity and stated that charity should be voluntary and not mandatory via taxes.

If you disagree that charity is a personal choice, then you are suggesting that all charities should be funded via tax. That seems rather unworkable.
No, you said as a stand alone sentence: “I personally think charity is a personal choice. We should not pay mandatory charity via taxes”

You did not say that only applied to support in foreign lands

Which you have not

You have decided that all foreign aid money disappears in corruption…..with no evidence whatsoever.

The unintelligent think foreign aid is a zero sum game….these are the same people who fink Trump wants to make America great

do you disagree?
I believe there should be a safety net so people who falls on hard times like a serious injury or end up homeless should have some support provided by the state.

I do not believe a country should huge wealth inequality and the millionaires can decide if they feel like helping the poor get enough to eat or not.

Why don't you go back to what he said, because you seems to be confused that
You have decided that all foreign aid money disappears in corruption…..with no evidence whatsoever.
when in fact he said
And people still believe the bulk of foreign aid goes to those that actually need it and not lining peoples pockets
so
Perhaps your command of the English grammar is poor and you don’t understand sentence and paragraph construction.

which is not the question I asked.

Either charity is voluntary and people choose to pay or it isn't and all charities are state funded.

i see you struggle with the meaning of the words BULK and ALL. Spend a bit more time educating yourself instead of spouting shyte on the internet .
.
"And people still believe the BULK of foreign aid goes to those that actually need it and not lining peoples pockets"

Poor old Notch has either some form of dyslexia and sees words that are not actually there or is just a habitual liar . From his posts i would say he just cannot help lying and making things up .

You said: “I personally think charity is a personal choice. We should not pay mandatory charity via taxes”

That was a stand-alone paragraph, it did not mention the word “foreign”

Perhaps your command of the English grammar is poor and you don’t understand sentence and paragraph construction.

That's pathetic even by your standards.

Good grief what a lot of effort you’ve gone to trying to deflect from what you said:

I personally think charity is a personal choice. We should not pay mandatory charity via taxes.
So did you say the above, or not?

According to World Banks Sanction Evaluation and Suspension office it’s about 0.1%

You can argue whether you agree or not….but it’s better than your blind faith and ignorance

“The World Bank’s Sanctions Evaluation and Suspension Office keeps track of cases where World Bank investigations have uncovered evidence of fraud and corruption. An analysis of cases between 2007 and 2012 found sanctionable fraud or corruption in 157 contracts worth $245 million, of which less than a third of contracts showed evidence of sanctionable corruption. The World Bank’s lending volume is about $40 billion a year, so this suggests less than a third of contracts collectively worth about 0.1 percent of volumes over the period involved discovered and sanctionable corruption.”
