Hi guys.
Over the last couple of years we have noticed a sharp increase in render failures, usually with a smooth or wet dash finish.
I am of course aware of suction/sun etc.
Other builders in our area have noticed similar problems.
It was brought to my attention that there may be a clash between modern cement (usually CEMII) and waterproofing agents.
I have it in writing from one waterproof manufacturer that their products should not be used with CEMII and spoken to others who confirm this.
This info does not come on any packaging!
Have been on to our cement manufacturer who denies any knowledege, but is looking in to it/running for cover.
Does anyone think they may have been affected and care to share their experiences?
